Pretty sad judgement on behalf of WinStar and Global Investors in my opinion. Patrons can get together and close down any enterprise that feels it is ' too big to fail '. Mnagement should have responeded to a note I sent, but did not. We got together and figured how much we had lost that day and figure each of the two spaces cost us $900.00 for a total of $1,800.00 for two small parking spaces. We could have made the trip in three cars, but only took up two spaces instead and interfered with no one. Between the nearly 1,700 rooms of WinStar’s four lavishly appointed hotel towers, the simple convenience and 100+ rooms in The Inn at WinStar and the flexibility of the Fun Town RV Park at WinStar and its 160 spacious sites, you can choose to stay in. They do have small buses that carry patrons to and from the RV park, but is not acceptable for someone like Mom who can barely make it from our little camper to her wheel chair. If you want to truly experience the World’s Biggest Casino, you need a room of your own.
We were asked to move out to truck parking or the distant RV park. We parked as far out as we could in the first parking area nearest the Rhome entrance. We ' need ' to park fairly close to an entrance.
Mom is 93 and has had a stroke and my Aunt is 87. ) due mostly to health reasons and also because that is the way we prefer to visit any Casino. We have frequented WinStar several times lately and we three have needed to travel in our small RV( 24 ft.
